Volunteer Rural Fire Brigade
One team, many players, one purpose. The RFS is looking for community members who can fulfil frontline fire fighting roles as well as support such as communications, community education, logistics.
The Braidwood Rural Fire Station houses appliances used by the Brigade in the local area and further afield. Attached to the Station is the Rural Fire Service Braidwood Office. Along with the Lake George Fire Control Centre at Queanbeyan, the Braidwood office provides administrative support to Brigades within the Palarang Local Government Area and provides a training hub for Brigadessurrounding Braidwood.
